Towards the Valais
To the foot of the Matterhorn.
A private chauffeur from Geneva to Zermatt, from the airport or your door to the foot of the Matterhorn. Zermatt is car-free, so we drive you to Täsch, the last village open to cars, and hand you over to the shuttle train with your luggage. A fixed price, agreed before you travel.
We track flights and traffic in real time and adjust, so timing is never your problem.
A transparent fare agreed before you travel. No meter, no surprises: one price, agreed before departure.
Licensed, suited and used to the route, present when needed and invisible when not.
The drive follows the motorway past Lausanne and Montreux, then up the Rhône valley through Martigny, Sion and Visp before the climb into the Mattertal. About three hours from Geneva Airport to Täsch in normal traffic; we leave extra margin in winter and on Saturdays, when the resorts change over.
Private cars are not allowed into Zermatt. The road ends at the Matterhorn Terminal in Täsch, five kilometres below the village, where a shuttle train leaves every twenty minutes and takes about twelve. Your chauffeur unloads the luggage and helps you onto the train.
Many Zermatt hotels collect their guests at the station by electric car. Tell us where you are staying and we can let the hotel know when you will arrive.
For the way back, take the shuttle down to Täsch and your chauffeur is waiting at the terminal. We work back from your flight time, allow for the mountain road and the motorway, and track the flight in case it moves.
No car can: the village is car-free. We drive to Täsch, the last village open to cars, and the shuttle train takes you to Zermatt in about twelve minutes.
About three hours from Geneva Airport to Täsch in normal traffic, then twelve minutes by shuttle train. In winter we plan extra time.
